Section C (Site Planning)

Instructor: UCLA Professor, Yvonne English, RLA, LEED AP. Ms. English passed the entire exam on her first attempt and is also a licensed landscape contractor with 15 years in the design profession.
Workshop Description: Instructor-authored 30-page package, minimum of (10) 11x17 practice vignette problems with solutions, “tips and tricks” handout, and a copy of latest L.A.R.E. Reference Manual.
16 hours of intense classroom instruction designed to improve your chances of passing Section C by focusing on the three key proficiencies you need to succeed--Subject Matter Mastery, Problem-Solving Ability, and Test-Taking Strategies. Candidates will complete timed vignettes that are similar to those offered on the L.A.R.E. Individual feedback will be given to candidates as they work the problems.

Instructor: UCLA Professor, Jerry Hastings, RLA -- former Master Grader for CLARB, and author of LARE Review Section E Vignettes: Grading, Drainage, and Stormwater Management. Over 30 years of experience in landscape architecture.
Workshop Description: Workshop includes: instructor-authored 235 page 3-ring binder textbook, minimum of (35) 11x17 practice vignette problems with solutions, sample copy of latest L.A.R.E. Reference Manual, and access to instructor’s pre-workshop FTP site with critical introductory information, how-to-grade primer, and optional pre-workshop assignments.
Format includes: 23 hours of intense classroom instruction designed to improve your chances of passing Section E by focusing on the two key proficiencies you need to succeed--Subject Matter Mastery and Test-Taking Experience. Candidates will complete timed vignettes that are similar to those offered on the L.A.R.E. Individual feedback will be given to candidates as they work the problems.
